Pat Dennis is the award-wining author of Hotdish To Die For -- a collection of six mystery short stories and 18 hotdish recipes. Her latest release is Murder By Chance, published by Forty Press. Murder by Chance is a mystery novel set around fifty-some year old Betty Chance, whose husband left her for an older, fatter woman. Penniless and in debt, she decides to follow Oprah’s mantra "Do what you love and the money will follow." For Betty that means casinos and buffets! She opens a tour company specializing in casino junkets originating in Chicago. When her company, Take A Chance Tour arrives at a Minnesota Casino, a dead body is discovered in the locked bathroom on board the bus. A knife is buried deep in his back. Pat’s numerous short stories and humor have appeared in Hotdish Haiku, Minnesota Monthly, Woman’s World, The Minnesota Crime Wave’s Resort to Murder, The Minnesota Crime Wave’s Silence of the Loons, Once Upon A Crime Anthology, Writes of Spring, Who Died in Here?
