Thrust into power at a young age, Alexandra Fairview has been captured by agents of the government that would love nothing more than to see her dead... but not before torturing her for information about the wherabouts of a rebel group, known collectively as the Darkdancers. When she meets a sympathetic prison guard named Mason, however, her adventure takes an unexpected turn. Now, the decisions she makes could make or break her as she attempts to rejoin the rebels she sees as family. In this journey of personal growth, political controversy, and survival, Alex must decide what is worth fighting for and what she’s willing to do to stand up for what she believes is right.

Sage Kafsky began writing seriously at the age of thirteen. A lover of adventure, she’s always had an affinity for the outdoors, and it was this love of nature that inspires her daily. The Journey is her debut novel, but Sage is also the author of the short story eBook, Lemons and Liars. When she’s not writing, Sage enjoys spending time out in nature, reading fantasy novels, and staying fit. She was born and raised in Tennessee, and she hopes to entertain and inspire others with her writing.
