Job: An example of patience for those suffering.

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. James 5:10 - 11. We can learn many things from the examples of others. In this book, we look at three things that Job shows us an example in. May your faith be challenged by and encouraged by this book.

Born with multiple disabilities and not expected to live, Hershell D. Lewis, JR is no stranger to sufferings and afflictions. Yet with a faith that has been forged in the fires of trials he has shown what an unwavering faith in God can accomplish. Refusing to accept the word ＂can’t＂ he has done what the doctors said he would never be able to do. Two verses that have become a part of his life are: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
