關於台灣一群不起眼小動物的故事。牠們一生大部分的時間都穿梭在森林底層、隱密的地表、晦暗的角落、以及黝黑的地道中…，因為這是牠們的生存之道。唯有如此，牠們才能生生不息！這一群小動物主要包括屬於囓齒類的老鼠，以及外形和老鼠長的很像，但是在動物分類上是不同目的食蟲類動物。

This is a story about a bunch of small, unnoticed animals in Taiwan. They spend most of their lifetime shuttling around in the bottom layer of forests, secluded surfaces, gloomy corners, and dark tunnels because this is the only way that secures their lives – the only way to ensure that the lives of their kind can continue. This bunch of small animals includes the old familiar rodents and their look alike – the insectivores.
