Following the success of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, L. Frank Baum continues his Oz series with The Marvelous Land of Oz (now known as The Land of Oz). In this new Oz adventure, Baum brings back favorite characters such as the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman, and introduces memorable new characters, such as Jack Pumpkinhead, the Saw-Horse, the flying Gump and the Woggle-Bug. This story also features the first collaboration between L. Frank Baum and John R. Neill, who worked together to produce Baum’s remaining thirteen Oz books.
