Way of the Worlds

This story takes place over the course of a week in
1987. We drop into the life of Regina Jane Westing, a
reporter with the LA Times.
She is a work in progress. Part of her is aware her lack
of self-confi dence fuels her obsession to please, and
she’s trying to change that image of herself.
Her random encounter with two men will change life
as she knows it...forever. One man is a very handsome
meteorologist ,by the name of Mike Fredelle. The other,
they meet on a lonely stretch of highway and assume
he has amnesia, due to a hit and run accident.
This man they name John Doe, is actually an extraterrestrial.
The fi rst of many who will come to our world,
and warm our planet to suit them.
The alien’s ability to read minds, and alter the molecular
structure of organic and inorganic forms, will challenge
the illusory concept Regina has of herself.
