The End of the Beginning

Alex Stone used to love life. He had a wonderful family, a lively business, and a seemingly bright future in a quickly growing town. Now he is standing on top of Bagnell Dam and about to throw himself onto the rocks below.
There is something that Alex has forgotten, a secret he keeps from himself. Many stones have been placed around his soul; the death of his mother right after his birth, the face of his father who sacrificed his last good years to raise him, and the loss of his family to what seems like a senseless murder.
