The body of a young man is found brutally murdered in a North London canal.It's not long before the police arrest his killers, and link his death to the theft of several thousand pounds from a local night club. The police are currently in the process of identifying the victim and tracking down his next of kin before releasing the name.

Career Opportunities begins one year earlier, and follows the chaotic, and often hilarious, exploits of Jason Hart,a hedonistic young wannabe, hell bent on becoming a rock star. With a blind drummer, who constantly sets himself on fire, and in a battered old van that's possessed by the ghost of Elvis, Jason Hart forms The Angels, and sets out across the clubs of England, like some latter day pirate crew.
