Befriending an ancient, dying, recluse led Brad on the adventure of a lifetime. It set him on the road towards obtaining the funds he needed to realize his dream of purchasing their neighbor’s farm. Rescuing a beautiful young Indian girl, and fighting the fearful Cowlitz hunting parties all became a part of this young man’s introduction to the adult world. Crazy moonshiners, days of hard work in his mine, and the rigors of living off of the land in the wilderness, all added to this tale of bravery, passion and adventure.
