Fourteen year old Ashlyn Conner has been plagued by visions of a shadowy figure abducting a young girl. After the death of her mother, her father moves them into her mother's childhood home in the quiet community of Derry Glen so that they can begin to heal as a family. There, in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, she finds that her visions become reality, and things aren't what they seem.
