Women's Institute Murder Mystery

Miss Tayke gives a talk on criminology to members of the Women’s Institute in the picturesque little village of Chalfont St Ethelred in the Chiltern Hills. As she is closing her peroration she hears the thud of a body falling to the floor at the rear of the venue. A murder has occurred, the brutal stabbing of a WI volunteer. The local police make an early arrest but Miss Tayke disagrees with their decision. With the assistance of Cedric and Bunty she sets about her own investigation and uncovers an ill-omened triangle; the unfortunate victim and her two lovers.
