The Seed of the Shroud

Book 2 of the Shroud Saga and the sequel to The Blood of the Shroud.  The child created from the Shroud of Turin, Jesse Rothfuss, becomes a world famous Christian evangelist.  Jesse's popularity and fame build to such an extent that he sets his sights on another goal- running for the Presidency of the United States.  The conservative, Bible preaching Jesse runs against an ultra-liberal, socialist incumbent who believes in big, free spending government, liberal Democratic policies, and who doubts the role of religion and God in American life. Old foes also return to attempt to do harm to Jesse and his family.  Conservative and God-fearing Jesse debates with the liberal incumbent on such current and relevant topics as separation of church and state, gay marriage, big government, and illegal immigration.  This sequel combines humor, suspense, courtroom drama, intrigue, and theology in an entertaining mix between a political thriller and a spiritually relevant modern parable.
