Along the Ship Canal from Salford Quays

The 4½ mile walk follows paths alongside the Ship Canal, Manchester's Victorian masterpiece, first through redeveloped dockland and then through contrasting, derelict areas. The route passes a number of outdoor sculptures along with interesting buildings and bridges. On the route (or very close to it) there is also a variety of attractions, ranging from an art gallery to an iconic football stadium, historic house to outlet shopping mall and even TV studio tours - certainly something for everyone.
