Free Fall

A new love…….

Erica Tyler avoided love at all costs.  Being married to a son-of-a-bitch will do that to a woman.  So when that marriage crashed and burned six years ago, she vowed loved was not for her.  She threw herself into her work as office manager for her BFF Cadence Callahan of Callahan Securities.   

Erica's plan was working well until Chris Callahan invaded her personal space.  Along with being Cadence's younger brother, Chris was drop dead handsome and yes, he knew it.  He also didn't take no for an answer.  With much persistence, he finally wore down Erica's resistance and they started cautiously dating.  Erica kept waiting for the shoe to drop…..

Chris was at a crossroad in his life.  Well not really.  He knew what he wanted.  Erica.  He knew he couldn't have her if he kept his job as a government agent.  Hell, he didn't even want his job anymore, once he found out what was what.   Once again, his big sister saved the day by making him an offer he couldn't refuse: running Callahan Securities permanently. 

Chris jumps at the chance.  He was excited at the new turn his life was going to take.  He was going to work with Erica everyday, cementing their relationship.  All that works fine, until her ex-husband shows up at the office, begging forgiveness and needing a favor…

       Can Chris and Erica help her ex-husband without getting their fingers singed and keeping their love for each other intact without going into a free fall.
