The Courtyard

In meeting your beloved there, your own small courtyard becomes the universe to you:  This is exactly how Annie felt whenever she saw Jonathan at the local coffee shop called The Courtyard.

She was usually very shy, but she was so drawn towards him, that in a round about way, she even mentioned her fascination with him to the waitress. The waitress picked up immediatially on what was going on in Annie's heart, so she began to encourage her, as she thought it was sweet that an older woman should wear her heart on her sleeve the way Annie did.
