Legends of a cannibal witch, the Baba Yaga, have floated around the valley for generations. These stories have made for great fireside tales used to scare children; but now…, now something stirs in the valley. Things are not right, and fear is consuming many of the villagers. The home life of a young girl life is turned upside down with a missing Grandmother, the unexplained appearance of the new and strange Nana. Even her Grandfather is starting to act a little crazy. Soon her brother is sent on an errand that takes him through the legendary valley of the Baba Yaga. When he doesn't return, his sister is determined to find him. She must travel the same road; what she finds makes the fireside legends appear as happy fairy tales.
