My Paris Connection

In book three of the series, Annie's family moves to Paris, France where her father is teaching at the Sorbonne University and mother is working at home for a publishing house. When Annie visits the famous Louvre Art Museum, she discovers, quite by accident, a gang of art thieves stealing a priceless painting. After telling the curator of the gallery and the police, one of the criminals is caught. After Annie agrees to testify against the criminal, the rest of the gang calls her home to threaten her with kidnapping and slavery in Saudi Arabia if she testifies.
