Seven year old Nikki is thrilled about the whimsical adventures she enjoys with her little sister Kaylin, friends and family at the famous beach inside Lake Austin, City Park! This beach is far from ordinary and daily this popular spot gets visitors from not just the locals but vacationers too.  Nikki truely appreciates how mandatory it is for families and friends to have fun times together in order to help grow and sustain strong, healthy, loving and memorable relationships with one another. About the author

Nikki T. Carter is from Memphis but lives in wonderful Austin surrounded by weather that just can't seem to agree which season the day will bring. She enjoys Austin with her adorable yorkie, Tiger Lily and loves eating belgian waffles. City Park is a beautiful exciting beach inside a lake she grew up visiting as a child and continues to this very day. Nikki has written a little more than a dozen children's books and began her writing journey in 1996. Since then, although this author had an opportunity to publish with a small traditional publisher, Nikki decided and have successfully accomplished self publishing City Park, hiring Michael La Duca out of Buffalo, NY to help produce magnificent illustrations and more whimsical titles from Nikki are soon to follow. "When I would read picture books as a child I was absolutely captivated! I knew from day one I'm a writer. The many achievements and awards for best reader and writer I earned during my school days paid off!" Nikki is also the author of the poetic piece, My Hat published in 2002.
