The Hypercritic

Although Cliff Voyage started off as a movie critic for the Daily Timely News, one of the smaller newspapers in the country, he soon was required to take on more reviewing responsibilities. The economic crisis and the fact that everybody just uses the internet instead of buying a newspaper, necessitated budget cut after budget cut.

Initially he was asked to take on the book review weekend page, a subject that was quite close to his heart. However, soon reviews of all kinds were expected of him. First it was computer software, of which he knew nothing, but while trying to familiarize himself with the subject he was also ordered to take on computer hardware, of which he knew even less.

It seemed that every other week he acquired a new reviewing responsibility: theatre, video games, restaurants, cooking utensils, art, table top games, business development courses and more.

Soon reviewing unwillingly dominated every aspect of his life, which he could tell you, takes a toll on one's life…
