My Cup Upset

In August 2013, comedian Andy Fury decided that he'd spend a season with his best friend Mark, watching the FA Cup on a giant game of winner stays on. They would follow the winner from the Extra Preliminary Round tie between Tow Law Town and West Auckland, then the winner of the next game and so on, all the way to Wembley for the final. By March 2014 they were threatening to sue each other having endured countless arguments and a 500-mile round trip for a game against Crawley that was abandoned with 15 minutes left. Aside from his obsession with footballers from the 90s, Andy is an award-winning comedian by trade. Having appeared on various BBC radio shows too, the 32 year old Geordie has been telling knob jokes instead of getting a proper job for six years now.
