Jack London – (Jan 12, 1876 – Nov 22, 1916) American writer and journalist. Born and grown up in California, he tried his luck in Alaska in the time of the Gold Rush, but unsuccessfully. During his writer's career he's written such novels as Martin Eden, The White Fang, The Sea-Wolf etc. and a lot of magnificent short stories. "The Human Drift" is a collection of essays and other works by Jack London published after his death. All of the works here have conclude and develop various London’s ideas that have no direct correlation, but together they can give reader a better picture of a man behind them and of his view of this world. This is a gathering of small, but priceless pieces of mind, a must read for all admirers of Jack London.
