THE CRUCIAL MESSAGE THE HUMANKIND NEEDS RIGHT NOW

Could we have imagined that the humanity in the 21st century will be so full of hate;  that splintered by walls of blocks, states, nations, religions, regimes, class division, it will be  ready for anything, even a new World War? Who is the mysterious Director that keeps building those walls and stops us from breaking them down? Is there a power capable of demolishing those walls? Is there no Common Denominator, shared by the whole of humanity? Will it keep getting worse in the future, if the youngest, the Generation Z, completely abandon the Earth of their forefathers and move into the world inside computer screens?

The main uniqueness of the book is that it contemplates the most essential percept - our (as Humanity, not as separate humans) purpose and meaning of Being; the meaning of Being established on that which we are already capable of comprehending in the third millennium; the meaning, which would become our Common Denominator and vector of the future,  which would gather us into One, highlight our main priorities, urge the consolidation of Humanity’s intellectual, material and financial resources.

At the core of the novel is the inner metamorphosis of Tomas, one of the virtual generation - something intuited from the very front cover, where a man-butterfly is breaking out of a cocoon on the other side of the iPad screen.

Tomas is lonely and tired of aimless routines.  In a sterile hospital room, where he comes after failed suicide, a strange meeting inspires a life-changing decision: he must leave everything and delve further into the unfamiliar lands and cultures, abandoning his ego and desires, hoping to find and learn another meaning of life. While his path unearths surprising discoveries, taking him to Rome, Mecca, the deserts of Central Asia, Pamir and Tibet, his mind travels ever deeper into his Self, like along a serpentine, meeting people of various ages, faiths and cultures - from primitive macsimps to those who rule the World. The matters, which seemed to be the distant prerogative of science fiction authors and futurists, appear to be a very real part of him, hidden at the very depths of his Self.

Just like Jonathan Livingston Seagull awakened every drowsy person in the ‘Everything Accomplished’ society by proclaiming that Perfection is infinite, that there is always space for improvement, so ‘Nomus’ will awaken the Self of every droplet melting into the Cloud, by exclaiming, ‘You are the Perfection and the centre of the Universe!’

Embracing literary genres of philosophy, adventure, educational and encouraging spiritual development, developed through impressive allegories and metaphors, ‘Nomus’ will be enticing to a very wide readership; from a respectable scholar, doctor and politician to a Life’s freshman who already calls virtual space his home.
