傳說在很久以前，有兩個大神爭奪天地，世界遭受了空前浩大的災難。冰洋極海的積雪被烈焰融化，形成無數川流，萬畝方圓的地域被汪洋淹沒，島嶼陸沉，天傾地陷的巨災一觸即發。 四位仙人遵照天象經緯的指示，仗著仁厚膽識之心走遍天下，在極地荒涼的隱僻之處發現了天地相輔﹑山海相循的奧秘。靠著天地山海所吸收的日月精華，經過火風水 土的醞釀所淬煉出的幻化靈珠，能使天下安定，扭轉人類榮枯興衰的契機。因此四位仙人展開了收集靈珠的旅程，將靈珠鑄成神器，使用這股力量來解救蒼生。 千百年來，八柄神器代代相傳，四仙人為天下樹立了萬世範典，以彩雲峽為地界的中心點，先後創立了天山國、蓬萊國、鬱樹國和翠雲國。 後來四仙人擇地隱修，萬古神器與四象通靈召喚術之傳承的重責大任落到了後裔身上，在戰亂的年代，光明御史被賜予了平定亂世的力量，並且為四國揭開了序幕之戰。

Long before the distant past, Earth was an organic whole without form and void. A divine goddess separated Earth from Heaven to form Terrestrial continents.

Once every sixty six thousand six hundred and sixty six year, a disastrous scourge would be brought upon this land.
