"Violet's Story" is the first novel from award-winning author, S J Campbell. They have also written "The Knowing", "Little Whispers", "Diary of a Broken Heart", "The Strange Adventures of Mavis Street" and "Ishinnie".
"Violet's Story" is the tale of a young girl finding herself in a 'mental' hospital, set in the 1990's. She takes us on a journey through her childhood at an all-girls boarding school, to meeting her best friends, Colin and Lewis, and finally to University where she meets and falls in love with her tutor, Sarah.
It is this love for a married woman that sets Violet on her path to self-destruction and what follows is catastrophic, not only to Violet but to those closest to her.
This is a story of love, passion, obsession and madness.
