One Dead Lawyer

Detectives Lazarus Johnson and Dick Nederland are called in to solve the case of a murdered lawyer, Jimmy Stone. There's only one problem - too many suspects. As they weave their way through the tangled mess of Jimmy's life, they encounter disgruntled law partners, a psychopath, a lady of the night, more than one ex-lover, and a devoted, if somewhat unconventional, sister. The murder is eventually solved in a blaze of gunfire. Or is it? Revenge, betrayal, lust, and love, all play their part in the death of Jimmy Stone. Narrated by a cynical reporter who's seen one too many murders, One Dead Lawyer is a darkly comedic romp through the contradictions of human life and death.
