This is my second book of Scottish short stories and follows my first book Free as the Wind. Contents include two stories designed around the infamous Highland Clearances and subsequent emigration to the New World of North America and Canada, a nostalgic story about growing up in the sixties in a well-known holiday resort on Scotland's west coast, two stories about momentous events on a fictitious Hebridean island, and two further stories based on the glorious island of Mull (one of which incorporates issues of world significance). The final story is a folklore fantasy about a young man who is close to the famous Somerled of the Isles.
