The Deciders

From a lineup of millions, only a handful may enter the vault. Everyone else has a month to live before a gamma ray burst ravages the Earth. Byron, one of the vault’s dreaded Deciders, must single out the few applicants whom he deems talented enough to survive. In deciding, however, he also singles out the thousands who will die.

All of humanity competes for entry, and it takes an army to hold back the auditioners. Byron, however, must envision the future before he can fill it with saviors. With each performance judged and each fate decided, he marches deeper through the horrors of vault justice. His most personal choices could cost him the world, or his sanity.
