A reporter named Joey Baker joins Jennifer’s team of operatives on an excursion to Egypt where they successfully destroy the Ajax factory owned by a terrorist cell. Following a second trip, a number of his colleagues end up dead; with Jennifer herself ending up being captured, interrogated and murdered. Joey escapes by flying out of Cairo.

Once back in England, Joey is reunited with Jennifer’s daughter, Jane Valentino who he had not seen since childhood. The two soon fall in love, exchange gifts on Valentine’s Day and make wedding plans. Following a number of mysterious deaths on a submarine committed by a master criminal with the ability to don disguises, Jane and Joey manage to escape.
