The Firefly Effect

It is the year 2072, and Sophie has accompanied her disabled father to Mars as he plays the final rounds of Electoral 2072, a bracket election system that tests candidates on every level imaginable, from empathy, reason, capacity for violence, and everything in between. The Electoral Competition serves to determine Earth’s leadership over the planet’s most vital assets: technology and information.

But, unbeknownst to her, a rare universal phenomenon dubbed The Sixth Attraction has placed Sophie at the heart of the first multi-dimensional war of the Multiverse. Sophie alone has been chosen to help the the Multiverse face this deadly threat, which extends far more deeply than the existence of a handful of species.

Events continue to accelerate as Sophie and her father arrive on Mars. Facing the constant struggle of deciding who is a friend and who is an enemy, Sophie must walk into unknown territory with only her conscience to guide her.
