The Composer Is Dead

　　「作曲家死了！」這件事就發生在管弦樂團盛大演出前夕。暴躁又疑神疑鬼的探長，把整個管弦樂團都當作嫌疑犯，開始一一查問。

　　難道是低調的大提琴們總是太受忽視，所以動手了嗎？是思鄉的法國號、或常常得模仿鳥叫的長笛？小提琴說自己絕對不可能，作曲家總讓他好好的獨奏表現一 段。打擊樂器們已經太習慣大聲高調地響，謀殺這件事他們作不到的。銅管樂器有不在場證明，不論國王或總統，一定要他們的演奏；還有太多的樂器一一為自己辯白，探長還是找不到兇手。
