About the Authors David I. Cleland is professor emeritus in the School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and the author/editor of 36 books on project management and engineering management. Often described as the “Father of Project Management,” he is a Fellow of the Project Management Institute and has received the Institute’s Distinguished Contribution to Project Management Award three times.
