The Squashed edition of The Mabinogion, abridged from the original text to read in an hour or so. This collection of Welsh folk-takes comes from manuscripts of the 13th Century, but is thought to be taken from much older, pre-Christian, Celtic stories, and possibly goes back to a late Iron Age tradition of oral storytelling.
