Essays Ancient and Modern

Essays Ancient and Modern is a slim volume of 22 short essays equally divided between ancient topics and modern topics. The topics range from The Garden of Eden, Homer, and other ’greats’ from antiquity, onto the nuances of the English language, taking in a discussion on black holes and time travel along the way. No technical knowledge is needed for a reading of the essays, some of which may generate some thought and some which may hopefully raise a smile. Some might even generate the comment - I didn’t know that. What more could one ask for from a slim volume such as this? Some expletives used in the general text - 18 years or older.
