THOMAS E. BOUDREAU is Professor of Peace Studies at St. John’s University, St. Joseph, Minnesota. He has published articles in leading publications in the United States, Europe, Africa, and Asia, including El Akbar (Egypt), Transnational Perspectives (Switzerland), Frieden und Abustung, (Germany) and the Gandhi Marg peace magazine (India). He is working on a book titled In the Shadow of Charlemagne: Reflections on the Quest for a New German Identity in Europe.
