Loren Long

　　Loren Long is the #1 New York Times bestselling illustrator of the re-creation of The Little Engine That Could. He has also illustrated other favorites, including Angela Johnson’s I Dream of Trains, which won the prestigious Golden Kite Award, and Toy Boat, another New York Times bestseller. His last book, Drummer Boy, was his debut as a picture book writer, and solidified his desire to create and illustrate his own stories. Loren lives near Cincinnati with his wife and two sons.
