She often appears later in life, disguised as anger, doubt, or that relentless voice inside our heads - the Bitch, as I call her. Healing begins when we finally turn inward and meet her face-to-face.

True self-love and worth aren’t born from perfection, but from the courage to confront the pain we’ve carried since childhood: the echoes of abandonment, the ache of being unseen.

I speak from a life shaped by adoption and the deep wounds of disconnection. This is my story of coming home to myself, learning to love the woman I’ve become, and finding peace where pain once lived.
