Paul Avis is honorary professor at the University of Durham, UK, and honorary research fellow at the University of Exeter, UK. He is joint editor, with Benjamin M. Guyer, of The Lambeth Conference: Theology, History, Polity and Purpose (2017) and editor-in-chief of the journal Ecclesiology.
