ESSAYS TO MY CHILDREN is a father reaching out to his own posterity to teach, persuade and testify of the eternal truths of our Heavenly Father’s plan for his children as taught from before the foundation of the world, throughout the Old and New Testaments, and as restored in these last days through living prophets of God. In a very analytical approach, Duane, a 66 year old practicing attorney from Lake City, Florida, lays out a very well reasoned presentation of the basic doctrines of the gospel of Jesus Christ to his own children using the Bible as his primary authority. Duane served an LDS mission in Argentina. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from BYU, and his law degree from the University of Florida. Duane has served as counselor in a stake presidency, stake executive secretary, a member of several high councils, bishop, stake young men’s president, ward mission leader, and YSA Branch President.
