As I Recall...: Farm kid recollections from the ’fifties

Joel Lovstad spent his childhood on a small dairy farm in west central Wisconsin not far from the Mississippi River. In later years he went off to college in nearby La Crosse. After many years of working and living in various big cities, he always longed for the life of the country. Now in retirement, he resides in a small central Wisconsin village.
