The Write to Heal project teaches journaling techniques and methods to create a personal path to heal. Research shows journaling is an effective tool to foster empowerment and inspire inner strength. Debbie Rae Triplett is the executive director and founder of The Raye Foundation, a non-profit organization established to merge her professional experience as a writer and personal journey as a survivor. She currently is pursuing her master’s degree in clinical counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary, and earned a bachelor of arts degree from The Ohio State University with a focus on creative writing. She was an associate editor and columnist for Suburban News Publications and freelance writer for national magazines. Debbie has spent nearly 15 years as a health and wellness coach, as well as a life coach with Fowler Wainwright International. A frequent speaker at local, state and national conferences on sexual assault and victim awareness, she is recognized as one of the top workshop facilitators and presenters in the field.
