Garrett Fisher is the author of Extreme Autumn: Fall in Colorado and The Human Theory of Everything. He is also the Executive Director of the Institute for Economic Innovation. He is a visionary at heart - examining existing conventions from limitless angles and calling entrenched thinking into question: in economics, through literature, and via the arts. "Seeing things as others do not," he has enjoyed a career in management consulting, financial turnarounds, and Chief Financial Officer roles at many firms. He presently is involved in a number of interesting book projects as well as a host of projects where he plans to further shake up current conventions regarding startups and human resource management. If Mr. Fisher is not found working as a mad scientist on his many projects, you can find him flying his antique airplane, skiing, or hiding above the timberline somewhere in the Rockies. Aside from his published book, he has contributed to Wired and has his photography published in a variety of world-wide media outlets.
