In the first of an epic series, the story is set in the Caelverse - ’universe’ filled with gravitationally-warped worlds, mystifying astral planes, complex magic, and an astonishingly-diverse civilization, with regions featuring primitive forest troll to transhumanists in computerized arcologies.
