The greatest loss a couple can suffer tore them apart.

FBI Agent Chloe Luckman is shocked and dismayed when she finds out that her ex-boyfriend has gotten himself mixed up in a case she’s been working. Surprised to find she’s jealous to see another woman in the arms of her ex, she wonders whether it’s possible to reclaim what they once shared.

Dr. Fin Patrick is no more pleased to be forced to spend time around Chloe than she is to spend time around him. She broke his heart when she walked away from him, and now he’s so angry with her that any hope of reconciliation is nonexistent.

But feelings are still there whether either of them like it or not, and as danger lurks it might be too late for them to do anything about it.
