Dennis Wiseman has facilitated the Good Shepherd Alzheimer’s Support Group for over twenty years. After participating in over 700 group meetings and sharing with over 1,000 caregivers, Dennis has learned about Alzheimer’s and dementia the hard way. A decade ago, his mother was diagnosed with dementia, which left him as the sole caregiver. Married and raising his own family, challenged with a new job, and caring for his mother, Dennis found it very difficult to deal with life’s new struggles as a caregiver. From this experience and studies, he has learned a great deal about the disease; he has participated in panel discussions; and was a part of the Alzheimer’s Association speaker’s bureau. Dennis is by nature one that has a passion for helping others. Throughout his work, civic, and family involvement, the interest he shares in helping people improve is what has set him aside from many. Dennis has developed Forget "Remember" to help others in easing their path through what may be the most difficult time of their life.
