Omri Schein (Book & Lyrics) is the winner of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival’s award in Excellence in Lyric Writing. Along with his collaborator James Olmstead, Omri has written the musicals "Gary Goldfarb: Master Escapist," "Bed Fellas," and a soon to be revamped holiday show. Their songs have been heard in concerts around New York City including at The Duplex, the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, among others. James Olmstead (Music) is a music director, composer, and arranger based in New York City. Most recently he was MD at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport ("The Music Man," "White Christmas," "Sweet Charity," and "South Pacific"). He is also adjunct faculty at NYU Steinhardt where he was the assistant music director for "Marriage of Figaro," "The Most Happy Fella," and "Violet" (NYU Tisch). Other assistant credits include NSMT ("Footloose"), Cape Playhouse ("Legally Blonde," "Footloose"), PCPA ("Ragtime," "Hot Mikado"), and the Arkansas Rep ("Hello Dolly!"). Other credits include: Birdland (BAA 10th Anniversary Concert), Laurie Beechman ("Perfectly Complicated"), Don’t Tell Mama’s ("Me Sing Pretty For You"), and The Duplex ("Another Cabaret"). With Omri Schein, he has written the musicals "Gary Goldfarb: Master Escapist," "Bed Fellas," and an irreverent holiday musical, as well as other in-the works projects.
