Johnny Bryan Ward is an author of Urban Fantasy novels and award-winning journalist. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and obtained his Masters of Business Administration. His love of writing has been a life-long endeavor, but his love of all things supernatural has brought him to this particular point in his journey. Johnny resides in Tulsa, OK with his husband, Clay, and their two Yorkshire Terriers. They have three adult children who also reside in Tulsa and are expecting their first grandbaby in the spring of 2015. Johnny was raised in Braggs, OK, a small rural community, on a horse and cattle ranch. Braggs is known for its rich history and is home to one of the nation’s largest National Guard Training Centers. Growing up in nature had a huge impact on Johnny. An avid water skier, gardener, cook, stamp and cake stand collector (he has over 50 cake stands), Johnny loves to share his stories with everyone. Johnny spent his twenties living in places like Los Angles, Fort Lauderdale, New York City and Myrtle Beach, SC, but it was his love of Tulsa and his family that brought him back to Oklahoma. He and his husband love to travel and spend time with their family and friends. They never miss out on a chance to take in local ghost hunting tour on their travels or visit sites of supernatural interest. If there is a haunted house around, Johnny and Clay will probably visit it. He is an activist in Marriage Equality, Anti-Bullying and Human Rights around the world. Johnny’s first novel in The Bad Moon Rising Series, Blue Moon, will be released in the fall of 2014. He has been actively writing on his second novel, also in series, Blood Moon, which he anticipates will be released early 2015.
