Sky Child

My renewed passion for writing started back in 2009. I decided I wanted to write a screenplay, one that I could use to make a movie with friends and family. I’m a huge movie buff, and I’ve always wanted to act in and direct my own movie. So I started writing the screenplay ’N01R’. The title is still one that I think worthy of being made into a movie, but the original screenplay probably is not. Maybe someday I will revisit it. After finishing ’N01R’, I felt the urge to write another screenplay. This one I would call ’The Appearance of Evil’. It is a very dark tale, based on the idea that a famous actor hires a company to fake his death. Years ago I read some sage advice: it’s much easier to publish a book and make money than it is to sell a screenplay, so I turned to writing novels. My first novel, LUMINARIES, was well received. It currently sits at 4 stars on Amazon and Goodreads. I also wrote a screenplay based on LUMINARIES. My next two books I wrote under a pen name. They are the first two books in a trilogy. I’ve chosen not to include the information about those books for a multitude of reasons; personal and professional. My newest, SKY CHILD, is a YA Dystopian with a huge twist. The main character’s gender is never revealed. I’m hoping this story resonates with readers from every walk of life, and maybe opens some eyes. When I’m not spending time writing, shooting pool, or enjoying the finer things in life, I’m spending time with my amazing fiancee, Nicole. Without her love, feedback and support, I wouldn’t be able to write the stories I’m writing with such enjoyment.
