T. Dasu enjoys classic stories of love and longing like Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s Love in the Time of Cholera, and is hooked on literary espionage exemplified by Graham Greene’s Our Man in Havana. Her writing is influenced by these two distinct styles of storytelling. In addition to such unattainable literary role models, Dasu is inspired by richly varied experiences acquired while spending her impressionable years on multiple continents. Dasu is a published author of both fiction and nonfiction works, and also translates regional Indian fiction into English.
