Picture Day at Dino Play

The dinosaur play group from Norman’s First Day at Dino Day Care is back in this children’s book about having the perfect picture day, from creator Sean Julian!

Today is picture day at the dino daycare. Freda is excited to wear her favorite hat for the photo. After playing outside with her Cretaceous friends, Freda’s hat is missing! Her teacher Miss Beak and the other students help her search until they discover the hat in the most unlikely of places: a bird has used the hat to make a nest! At first Freda wants the hat back, but then she feels that the bird needs her favorite hat more than she does. Miss Beak has a clever solution that makes the class photo picture perfect: arts-and-crafts hats for all the dinosaurs!

Sean Julian’s adorable dinosaurs are back in Picture Day at Dino Play, the second adventure after Norman’s First Day at Dino Day Care. This lively story shows how generosity can make people happy, and there is always a creative solution when things don’t go as planned.

Sean Julian enjoyed art from an early age, focusing on potato printmaking and creating plasticine dinosaurs. He now focuses his talents on children’s book illustrations, where he can follow his passion to draw hairy gorillas, bears, and dinosaurs. His pictures delight and entertain.
