The work of the Mexican firm of Gomez Vasquez Aldana and Associates encompasses a number of activities ranging from architecture to town-planning, landscape design to strategic territorial planning. This wide spectrum includes the major tourist/hotel complexes built or designed by GVA: environmental projects in which the study and conservation of the eco-system actually ground the entire design; and then more strictly architectural designs enhancing the technical/stylistic vocabulary of modern-day architecture, confronting the issues of leisure time and social relations in modern-day society.
